I was around 8 years old when I stumbled into my love of horses in the pages of the Thoroughbred series by Joanna Campbell. At the time, I had never ridden. It was a few years later that I got the opportunity to learn to ride, which I’ve continued ever since. It was just a coincidence that my first job out of college led me to Lexington, Kentucky where the book series that started it all was set.

I have always loved art. I love that equine and horse show photography has evolved beyond documentation and into the world of art. As a kid, I desperately wanted my own horse. I think that’s why I love creating fine art featuring the relationships between horses and their people.

Now, I have my own OTTB, Wanted, whom I compete in the hunter-jumper disciplines with.  I live in Lexington with my husband and our three dogs.
